In The Community
Connecting Children to Their Communities
The first five years of life are filled with extraordinary growth, and meaningful community connections play a powerful role in that journey. By introducing children to the people, places, and experiences that shape their world, we help them build confidence, empathy, and curiosity that lasts well beyond the classroom. Whether they’re gathering items to support families in need, welcoming guests who are navigating health challenges, or engaging with community helpers, like emergency responders, doctors, artists, and musicians, children gain hands-on opportunities to understand the world around them. These authentic interactions spark connection, broaden their perspectives, and prepare them for a successful transition into kindergarten and the years ahead.

We Partner with the Local Community
We seek ways to partner with the community through giveback and charity partnerships, such as Make a Wish, food drives, or toy drives, healthcare professionals, local zoos and libraries, and more! Each TGS location offers a unique opportunity to be involved. On the weekends, you might find us at farmers’ markets, holiday events, or other community events. At The Gardner School, community is at the heart of what we do, so we partner in ways that are impactful to our little learners, their families, and our neighbors.
