At The Gardner School of Braintree, children learn and grow in a warm, thoughtfully designed environment built to support early academic learning and emotional well-being. As one of our newest Boston-area schools, we offer a research-based curriculum, caring teachers, and a community-centered approach that helps families feel supported from the start. Conveniently located just minutes from South Shore Plaza, our school serves families throughout Braintree and the South Shore.
Our curriculum blends teacher-guided instruction with child-led exploration, giving children space to develop curiosity, confidence, and essential early academic and social skills. Through music, art, early language exposure, movement, and outdoor play, each child experiences a well-rounded foundation for lifelong learning. Bright classrooms, expansive indoor and outdoor playscapes, and enrichment spaces filled with natural light create a joyful environment where children feel safe, valued, and ready to grow.
Our research-based curriculum supports early literacy, math, problem-solving, and social-emotional development. Teachers guide learning through hands-on exploration, creative activities, and purposeful routines that help children build strong academic and social foundations.
Families feel at ease with two secure entry checkpoints, safe indoor and outdoor spaces, and calm, organized classrooms. Healthy meals and snacks are served daily in the Kids’ Café, and a private nursing room offers added comfort for nursing parents.
Large indoor and outdoor playscapes give children room to run, climb, explore, and build gross motor skills. Daily movement and active play help support strong bodies, coordination, and joyful energy.
Parents appreciate real-time updates, open communication, family events, and a warm school culture that makes Braintree feel like a true community. Our highly qualified teachers build meaningful relationships that help each child feel known and supported.
