Our curriculum blends teacher-guided instruction with child-led exploration, giving children space to develop curiosity, confidence, and essential early academic and social skills. Children explore rhythm, movement, and creative expression through hands-on music and drama. They learn fundamentals like melody and notation while building confidence through storytelling, puppetry, and simple performances.
Active, structured classes help children build coordination, strength, and confidence. Through sports like soccer, basketball, gymnastics, and yoga, they practice teamwork, listening skills, and healthy movement habits.
Martial arts introduce balance, discipline, and respectful movement in a safe, beginner-friendly format. Children learn basic stances and controlled motions that build focus, confidence, and body awareness.

Lauren has built a reputation for creating vibrant, connected school communities throughout her time with The Gardner School. She began her journey in 2018 as a Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher in Nashville before serving as Assistant Director and later Executive Director at TGS Midtown, where she helped foster a strong family community. In 2024, she brought that same passion to Boston to help open the first TGS schools in the area, proudly leading The Gardner School of Braintree today.

Julia finds the greatest joy in watching children discover new things and grow in confidence each day at The Gardner School of Braintree. She loves those moments when something “clicks” for a child — when their eyes light up with understanding or they run to share a proud accomplishment. Those glimpses of growth and joy are what inspire her daily.
