Music and Drama
Children explore rhythm, movement, and creative expression through hands-on music and drama. They learn fundamentals like melody and notation while building confidence through storytelling, puppetry, and simple performances.
At The Gardner School of Weymouth, children learn and grow in a warm, thoughtfully designed environment that supports early academics, creativity, and social-emotional development. As one of our newest Boston-area locations, our school offers a research-based curriculum, caring teachers, and a welcoming community for families across Weymouth and the South Shore. Conveniently located on Pleasant Street near Route 3, families enjoy easy access and a supportive school culture from day one.
Our balanced approach blends teacher-guided instruction with child-led exploration, helping children build strong early literacy, math, and problem-solving skills in ways that feel natural and joyful. Through music, art, S.T.E.A.M., early language exposure, and outdoor play, children discover new interests and build confidence each day. Bright classrooms, expansive playscapes, and dedicated enrichment spaces give children room to explore, connect, and grow at their own pace. Serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, we proudly partner with families to create a strong foundation for future learning.
Our research-based curriculum supports early academic skills, social-emotional growth, creativity, and problem-solving. Teachers guide children through hands-on exploration and purposeful routines that build confidence and a love of learning.
Two secure entry checkpoints, clean and calming classrooms, and predictable routines help children feel safe and cared for. Healthy meals and snacks are served daily in the Kids’ Café, and a private nursing room offers comfort and convenience for nursing parents.
Large indoor and outdoor playscapes give children space to run, climb, explore, and build gross motor skills. Active play is woven throughout each day to support strong bodies and joyful energy.
Families appreciate real-time parent updates, open communication, and meaningful family events that help build connection and belonging. Our warm, close-knit school culture creates supportive relationships for children and parents alike.
