At The Gardner School, the ratios are much lower (5:1), and the children receive an incredible amount of individual attention. The facilities are impressive and immaculate. Most importantly, the teachers are extremely professional and personally invested in the students. We get detailed updates about how our child is doing every day, including developmental milestones. The food is actually healthy (and not just carbs and sugar like the old daycare). The curriculum is important and not simply an afterthought. The teachers and administrators know all of the parents by name and are helpful, professional, organized, and friendly. We are greeted by name and with a smile when we come and go every day. Any changes or upcoming events are communicated clearly and in advance. Though the tuition is meaningfully higher than the other daycare, we have found that it is well worth the money. TGS has exceeded all of our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the care and service they provide.

This morning, in the special app that TGS uses, we saw that our two-and-a-half-year-old participated in making a mindfulness jar, went on a superhero-themed around-the-world animal yoga journey, and listened to a book about how your “magic breath” can get you through tough emotions. Then we got an email from his teacher, talking about all of this and what it means. It was beautiful and I teared up. Our son has been loving the teachers, friends, food, and activities at TGS. Most importantly, we feel safe with him there, and it seems like the staff really enjoys working there. (And he hasn’t mentioned his old school at all!)

We love TGS! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for their kids. We started in the infant room earlier this year and have been blown away by how amazing the teachers are and all the projects they do with the littles. From reading to yoga to fine motor skill work, they cover it. Everyone is so kind, happy to be there, and so responsive on the app. Love, love, love, TGS!
